birthday favors for kids question by Dee: Is it rude to not give party favors for kid’s birthday parties?
I was only six years old would like to invite her entire class for the party’s b’day. And, like their parents, there are several siblings. I am conscious that the budget is that it is never rude or bad etiquette hand out party souvenirs! From past experience, it just ends at the floor or landfill. I just like all 54 guests (adults / 27 children in 27) will be supplied. Appetizers, pizza, cakes, sodas there is water / juice / bottled. Venue, playnasium indoors to charge admission of $ 7 per child they have to. So if a party favor?

Fun,
My son and his friends at school loved these tattoos. They are lots of fun, have good colors and can stay on the skin for a few days if not rubbed intentionally. My son had the lion on his arm three days. You need to carefully follow the instructions when applying them on the skin, since sometimes the edges may tear. Nonetheless, it will surely give you the excitement you are looking for.

|Fun tattoos, quality is lacking,
These are fun for my son. Colors aren’t very vibrant. Not all styles are shown and what I got does not match this photo. I have a full body of Giraffe, Tiger, & Zebra, not just the heads as shown. The smaller parts (legs, tails, etc.) tend to stick to the paper and look quite awful.
My son loves them when they are “right” and cries for me to scrub them off when they aren’t. I scrub off 4 out of 5 of these consistently.

|no, or at least i wouldnt, people want to be there
NO! crikey 54 ppl? i dont think you’re being rude at all if that many show up and you have to feed them….
IF YOUR ON A BUDGET ITS NOT RUDE..BUT IF YOUR EXTREMLY WORRIED ABOUT IT I SUGGEST YOU GET LIKE A BAG OF CANDY AND GET LIL BAGGIES FROM THE DOLLAR STORE AND FILL THEM UP AND HAND THEM OUT
You don’t have to buy party favors, as you are already feeding all of the children in the class and paying the admission fee to the gym.
I would do light party favors – Go to the dollar store..
Just get something cheap like a coloring book costing 25 cents or something. These six year olds tend to like getting this attention. Just don’t go overboard on it.
No, can you remember ANY of the giftbags you used to get at parties?
Put a bowl of candy out for the kids to grab on their way out
or even popcorn!
Considering it’s at an actual venue and not just a house party, I don’t think it’s rude not to have party favors. However, if you’re really torn about it, how about making cupcakes that the kids can take home with them? Or maybe just lollipops?
54 guests is a lot for a six year old. The party will be very expensive, so party favors wont be a good idea. They will be too expensive. Kids that age love candy, and although the other parents may not be too thrilled with all the sugar, a bag of candy can never hurt.
have fun!
It would be a better idea, but don’t push yourself too far, maybe just give them all a candy bar or balloon for the kids.
well since theres that many people, you don’t need to b/c they probably arent expecting any for a big party like that.
It is not rude or inproper to not do party favors. You have taken on alot, and anyone who indicates otherwise from your party guests, i would say they would be the “rude” ones. I hope all goes well for you and yours!
aren’t you already paying for the party favors??
It is not rude to not give out party favors, although many of the kids may or may not be expecting them, kids do love to receive a “goodie bag” at parties but it isn’t rude to not give them out.
Seven bucks for the whole family to eat and play isn’t really a bad deal, they are getting the better end of it. So I could understand not giving one.
DO THEM NO FAVORS
Nah. They’ll have plenty to make them happy there. Bringing them to your house, then saying Gimme Gifts! (essentially) would be bad juju.
